Music Dipped in Chocolate

Music seems to make everything more special. Don't you think? It's like chocolate...chocolate just makes everything better. If anything says "covered," "dipped," or "drizzeled" with chocolate, I want to try it  :-) Music can set the mood of a party, makes a movie so much more moving and keeps me from being really bored on long car rides.

I LOVE the older songs by singers like Natalie Cole, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra...they make me want to float and dance across the room with an imaginary partner. But I love ALL KINDS of music. You would probably get tired of me if we were riding in a car together with the radio on, because every other song that came on would be one that I loved (and would have to consequently sing out loud).

I've been listening to Pandora a lot lately because it it so cool. It allows you to create your own "radio station". You type in a song/artist that you like, and it plays songs or artists that are similar to the ones you typed in. You can vote thumbs up or thumbs down on the songs  & the website pretty much learns your taste in music. It's free to listen to your heart's content. You can start listening here. Most of you have probably known about Pandora for the longest time, but hey, I'm a little slow.
I've been turning the Christmas music up lately while I'm cooking in the kitchen. My fav is "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" sung by Judy Garland.

I sang this song one Christmas at a Nursing Home when I was in middle school. At the end, one elderly lady said loudly (to my delight) "She's cute!"

What is your favorite Christmas song? Is there a certain type of music that really moves you?

My mom and I spent an evening this week decorating her Christmas tree and house. We didn't have any Christmas music playing in the background, but we did have an old family Christmas video playing from 2000 and enjoyed ourselves some SoyNog. It wasn't as bad as you're thinking (almost like the real thing) :-)

Now to decide when I will start decorating my own house...

Have you started your Christmas decorating yet? I would love to see pictures and post them on my blog with your permission.
